Gold jewellery takes centre stage at trade fair

Those attending the annual jewellery trade fair in Australia this weekend were given the opportunity to see a vast array of gold products on display.

According to Jeweller magazine, Hong Kong-based firm Carat exhibited some of its gold pieces that are popular with celebrities around the world.
The heavily branded gold jewellery produced by the company has found favour with a number of star names, the article claims, with the Australian market served by a single outlet in Noosa, Queensland.

Iconic Jewellery also demonstrated personalised gold pieces as part of its Legacy New York range, which allows customers to engrave their own messages on to rings and other items.

Pieces on display at the event were part of the global launch of the company, Jeweller reports.

Held on August 29th-31st, the International Jewellery Fair featured 30 per cent new exhibitors this year, with a split focus on the latest product releases and on developing trends in the industry.
