Rare gold coins to be displayed by Royal Canadian Mint
The Royal Canadian Mint will showcase a number of rare gold coins from its history at a special pavilion during this year’s Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
It will display the mint’s million-dollar gold coin - which was first unveiled in 2007 and weighs 100kg - in a special Gold Room that will explore the organisation’s involvement in the Canadian gold sector.
