Gold Staffordshire Hoard discussed by experts
Experts have discussed the Staffordshire Hoard of gold Anglo-Saxon treasure at a recent event, revealing some interesting facts in the process.
Deb Klemperer, an archaeologist, said in the talk at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery yesterday (February 24th) that the location of the hoard when it was found suggests it may never have been discovered at all if the current M6 toll road was built on one of the other proposed routes for it.
